Blogger Problems

Just putting a note in here that I am trying to post, but I am having prolems with Blogger. When I try to upload pictures Blogger's server times out. So, once I am able I will post again.

2015

The new year has started off right...finally. 

• I got a raise.
• David got a promotion and a hefty raise to go with it. 
• We are all healthy. 
• Wayne is back at home, healthy.

In light of the new position David got, along with my raise (small), we are going to pay of debt that we have accumulated over the years.  This is going to take a while, so if we don't drive to visit or don't participate in events (jazz fest, beach, mardi gras, etc) that's why. Don't take it personally; it's just something we have to do. We did decide to include a small vacation in Grand Isle with some friends, which we are budgeting for. It's pretty cheap and will be a welcomed break in the middle of June. 

Here's to a great 2015 for everyone!

Emily is 8!!

My baby girl turns 8 today.  Sigh.  Her party was this past Saturday, a joint party with another girl with the same birthday.   We had it at Painting With a Twist and it was a full house. They both agreed on a monogram painting and had the choice of pink or purple with black.  Normally this would be too expensive for just one person's party, but as a joint party it worked out well. Both girls have some of the same friends, plus they invited some from their class.
